Shipping policy
At Albion Worm Farm, we carefully package our worm castings to help ensure they arrive clean, secure, and in good condition.
Processing Time
Orders are generally processed and shipped within 1–3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
During periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take slightly longer. If a significant delay is expected, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
Packaging
Our worm castings are securely packaged to minimize the possibility of tearing, leakage, or damage during transportation. Products may be packaged in protective inner packaging and/or shipping cartons depending on the product and order size.
Because worm castings are a natural soil amendment, minor settling or compaction during transportation is normal and does not affect the quality or usefulness of the product.
Shipping
We currently ship within the United States using USPS and/or carriers selected based on package size and destination.
We do not currently offer international shipping.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.
Once shipped, delivery times typically range from 2–7 business days depending on your location. Tracking information is provided by email when available.
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, delivery times are determined by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Albion Worm Farm.
Weather and Transportation Conditions
Worm castings are a natural, non-perishable soil amendment. Normal temperature fluctuations during transportation do not affect the product's intended use.
We package products to help protect them from normal handling and transportation conditions.
Damaged or Leaking Packages
If your package arrives damaged, torn, or leaking, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the damage
- Photographs of the package and product
We will review the situation and work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.
Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If an order is returned to Albion Worm Farm because of an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.
